The Jack & Irene Curran Fountain Plaza is an integral part of Northwest Hospital & Medical Center's innovative healing environment. Established through a gift from Irene Curran, a longtime member of the Northwest Hospital Foundation Board, it is a tribute to the outstanding patient care both she and her husband Jack received at the hospital. The centerpiece of the plaza is a beautiful, sculptural fountain created by internationally known local artist, George Tsutakawa. The beautifully landscaped garden and reflecting pool provide a perfect place for patients, physicians, staff and visitors to relax, reflect and soak up the colors, scents and sounds of this special place. Leaving a legacy is about life and hope. It is about the commitment that comes from sharing with the people and causes close to our hearts. It is the process that creates the joy of giving, while enhancing the value of living.
